Lucca's Lust, book 3 of the Luminara series was such a surprise! Written in Lucca's perspective, it gives you such a great insight into Lucca. Brings to light things you had no idea happened to him. Shows you how truly and deeply he cares for Lexi.

I think so far this is my favorite book in this series. I cannot wait to read the conclusion to everything that happens between Lucca and Lexi, and Michael Parks!

L'amore, book 2 of the Luminara series, was a much more interesting read. I enjoyed it a lot more than the first book.

The good: Lexi, with Lucca's help, starts emerging into a more confident woman. She learns to not take any crap from other people including Lucca. Although short lived, she attempts to be more independent and not let other people take care of everything for her. Lexi and Lucca's passion for each other burns hotter than ever.

The bad: I'm still not into the sex scenes. They just aren't "doing it" for me. Lucca's pushiness makes me want to reach into my Kindle and smack him. I understand he has hopes and dreams of the future but if Lexi was not ready he should of let it be. Seems fate too care of it for him either way.

The snippets into Michael Parks and his plans for Lexi has left me biting my nails in anticipation of what will happen. I am looking forward to seeing what happens in books 3 and 4 and hope Lexi does not break from everything that happens.

3 stars

I'm not sure how to review this book. On one hand I wanted to really like this book but on the other hand there were quite a few aspects that i just couldnt handle.

The good: I liked the chemistry between Lexi and Lucca. Their passion for each other was off the charts.
I loved Hazel and how she was always there to suppprt Lexi and knew when she needed a rescue or a push. The same with Cameron too.
Although it starts out a bit dark, its what had me hooked right from the start.

The bad: I couldn't help but feel Lucca was a bit too desperate for Lexi. I didnt care for it at all. Especially when he got pushy to have sex without a condom. A man who cannot respect a woman's limits/wishes is no man at all.
I understood Lexi's desperation somewhat better because of what she went through but felt she was too back and forth with emotions. And her crying....I get she has issues but jeez did she cry over everything.
Every other page was a sex scene. Not good ones either. Who says the kind of things Lucca did?!
Other than minor dramas there wasn't much going on in the book. Maybe I'm just a drama whore and need too much happening. Lol.

Overall, it was a decent book, although lacking in some areas it was interesting in others.
